This site is a platform for sharing learnings, and create opportunities to learn more. From technology to management, there’s a lot to talk about and collaborate on.

If you need help, I offer services to assist with all things Software Engineering. Including Management and Product Development. I bring 25+ years of expertise across several industries and technology stacks. Investment banking, Event ticketing, Mental Health digital therapeutics. In parallel, side projects have allowed me the chance to develop experience in AI and XR.

Curiosity  

Seek to understand. The technology, the people, the domain.

Bring order to chaos  

We operate in systems. Everything is connected. It’s turtles all the way down, and probably all the way up as well. Understanding those systems help foster order, which allows us to produce more impact.

Technique over strength  

In sports, you can often witness technique in how effortless something looks. The same is true in engineering. Experience and skills can save a lot of sweat and tears and increase your chances of success.

Map reduce management  

“Map reduce”, splitting the data and distributing it across many computing resources. True when running a team as well. As a company grows in size, it must overcome its weight and organize to maintain throughput. This can be achieved by a combination of alignment and autonomy.

Shortening the feedback loop  

Nature is complex. Systems are always a shortcut to grasping reality. Being decisive is important. Shortening the feedback loop and loosely held belief are essential for rapid growth. Focus on rapidly converging toward a greater understanding. When proven wrong, we are, like muscles, sore one day and stronger the next.
